Live it Up!

For the fastest growing global lingerie brand Hunkemöller, TinQwise developed ‘Live it Up!; an innovative online boarding program in 7 languages, supplemented by offline assignments and events. Through this program Hunkemöller will onboard no less than 22.000 new employees in two years’ time. After this powerful start, employees get access to Hunkemöller’s online academy full of expert e-learning modules so that they continue to learn.

Hunkemöller employees are called shero’s: a combination of she + hero. Thanks to the way online learning is organised at Hunkemöller, shero’s are inspired experts that sell lingerie with a likeable mission: ‘Sexy comes in all shapes’.

Every onboarding employee has in Live it Up! a buddy in real life (senior co-worker) and a digital coach. You can choose by yourself what this digital coach looks like; the avatar can be the CEO of Hunkemöller or your favorite movie star, for example. This personalized coach sends motivating text messages to the new hires smartphone on a regular basis, to keep learning fun and top of mind.

The buddy is always a senior colleague. The buddies have completed a special interactive training course, and receive online information, tips and inspiration about how to offer their new colleague optimal support. Later in the academy the employees are challenged to take part in group assignments. These joint assignments strengthen relationships and collaboration, and support teambuilding. The result? Effective onboarding of new hires in less than one month - 20 days - and store managers relieved from the time-consuming task of guiding new hires.

Using technology to enrich learning solutions, like the ability to personalize the digital coach, share content via social media and have access to a secured area for Hunkemöller news, contributes tremendously to the success of the learning experience. Because the more fun and personal the learning experience, the more motivated and engaged the trainee.
