

Actiris is Brussels’ regional employment service. It brings together actions and resources towards two tasks: guaranteeing the matching between employers and job seekers and organizing the transition to employment.
After a selection process, Actiris chose TinQwise to develop an e-learning module about dealing with aggression.
For most employees, working at Actiris represents an intense contact with clients, which can occasionally lead to situations where employees face aggression in the workplace. Together with Crime Control, Actiris already offers an offline training program, but new employees at Actiris cannot always immediately access this educational course.
That is why Actiris wanted to expand their current supply with an e-learning module that can be followed independently, regardless of time or location. The e-learning can of course also be taken by current employees that want to brush up their knowledge!
Actiris chose an interactive module, with plenty of creativity and a playful note. That is why we came up with '[RE]ACT'.
[RE]ACT stands for reacting appropriately by actively responding to verbally aggressive situations. To support this somewhat heavy theme, we opted for a breezy look and feel with fun and colorful design elements.
For example, the navigation page consists of different desks with unsatisfied clients and an angry speech bubble above their heads. Each time you complete a chapter, you unlock the next chapter and the irregular speech bubble changes into a normal bubble of a satisfied client.
Moreover, the module also comprises a lot of video material that was developed by Actiris. The videos were recorded in the offices of Actiris to increase the recognizability of the situations. Using these videos, the user learns how to and how not to react to verbal aggression.
