Who is DELA?

DELA specializes in every single aspect concerned with saying your goodbyes. This makes Dela Belgium’s foremost funeral specialist. Its focus is on funeral insurance and arrangements. Together with its 800 employees, DELA strives to provide dignified funeral services to everyone. Over the past years, DELA has grown markedly, which increased the demand for online training.

In 2017 DELA implemented a new ERP package called FuneX. However, transitioning to a new software package isn’t easy and for that reason ‘Rise like a FuneX’ was developed. Employees gradually learn how the new software works and what the big differences are compared to the old way of working.

TinQwise developed 25 modules to provide employees with optimal support in adopting the new ERP-software. Each module includes simulations that closely resemble real life situations. Thanks to these simulations, employees can familiarize themselves with frequently occurring situations in an easy to follow, step-by-step manner.

Employees can always consult these simulations at a later time to assist them with difficult or unfamiliar situations. It lets them not only test their knowledge, but it also helps retain their attention for a longer period of time.

If you want to learn how to walk, you have to learn how to crawl first. The same principle holds true for learning new software: start with the basics. The training is split up into 25 modules, and the first module is solely dedicated to explaining the structure of the software and the first baby steps to using it. This helps the user feel confident enough to also tackle the other modules that are relevant to their expertise.

Why digital?

It’s not easy to give traditional classroom training. Not only does it involve a large group of individuals, each individual also fulfils a different role, which makes it difficult to establish benchmarks for each group.
